Marta Lee Lane is an aspiring author writing a shero’s journey set in Hawaii about kindness and starting over.

She is the Director of Craft and Education for the Women’s Fiction Writers Assn., the founder of Tasting Kauai Food Tours, and the author of “Tasting Kauai: Restaurants - An Insider’s Guide to Eating Well on the Garden Island.”

She was a Kauai-based freelance food and travel writer for a decade, and for more than four years, her columns “Tastes of Kauai” and “On the Farm” ran every week in MidWeek Kauai and The Garden Island newspaper.

Marta was on the organizing committee for the 2016 and 2017 Kauai Writers Conference, was under representation by Andy Ross Agency for a tropical fruit cookbook, and was an intern for agent Elizabeth Kr ...more
