Hot New Hockey Romance And Pride Month Releases...
Holy Moly Hockey Sticks! I just released my latest sports romance,
Playmaker
, published by Sarina Bowen’s Heart Eyes Press and part of her World of True North Moo U series. Along with my two other author cohorts, Melanie Ting (
Snowballed
) and Andi Burns (
Goalkeeper
), these three books rounded out the final releases in this fictional college team series. It was such an honor to have been invited to participate in this series – the brainchild of my author idol, Sarina Bowen. I’ve been reading her for years and she is one of the authors I’ve worked to emulate myself after. She’s not only a powerhouse in new adult college romance genre, but also a marketing genius, IMHO.
All 10 books in this series can be read standalone and they are just downright fun! They can be found on the Heart Eyes Press website and on Amazon KU and Audible.
And if you haven’t caught up on my BookTube interviews, you should definitely check out the interviews I’ve had with three of the other authors from the Moo U series: Jaqueline Snowe, Kat Mizera and Victoria Denault. You can find them here on my Sierra Talks Books with Authors BookTube channel.
AND…just in time for Pride Month…get ready for my debut LGBTQ release, C*ck Blocked , writing under the new name of K.C. Kassidy. I am so excited for this new MM romance featuring Grayson Darling, a Hollywood “it” guy in search of hideaway for the summer when he meets up with gritty and gruff Irish sheep farmer-slash-innkeeper, Niall O’Reardon. If you enjoyed the RomCom movies, Leap Year and Notting Hill, give this MM book version a try!
I hope you’ll give both of these books a read and enjoy the beginning of your summer.
Until next time, Be Sweet.
Love Hard.
Read Dirty.

New Books, New Series and lots to smile about...
If this past year has taught us anything, it’s that we are resilient people. We’ve faced trials and difficulties, violence and hatred, fear and death. Yet, we continue to bounce back. We turn the corner of the unknown. We lift our face to the sun, and we smile in the face of challenge. But we haven’t done it alone.
I believe one of the things that has kept me going this past year is the community of readers and authors that I’ve connected with that have been there as my rock. I am so blessed that through this business of writing I’ve made friends in countries all around the world; in Canada, France, Switzerland, Australia, Spain and in South America. And so many right here in the U.S.A. You’re part of a global tribe that has been there for me and brought smiles and joy to my face when things have been tough.
It’s honestly helped me keep my eye on the future. It’s given me the momentum to continue to write new books, create a new pen name and curate new author collectives.
And while I haven’t published a new book since February, during those months I’ve been writing and working on several that release this summer and fall.
June will bring my books Playmaker (June 7th), as well as C*ck Blocked under my new pen name, K.C. Kassidy (June 24th). And my MM book, Change of Course will be coming to audiobook, which means all three of my Change of Hearts series will be in audio. A true dream come true!
I also have a secret project I’ve been working on this year with a co-writer and that is shaping up nicely to possibly be announced and released this summer. And my new sports romance series, The Pilots , will have its first book, The Girlfriend Game , published in August.
In October, I’ll be bringing you a new round of the All American Boy Series with brand new authors! And that’s not even the end of it! Just in time for the holidays, I’ll gift you with a brand-new sports anthology with 15 amazing sports romances.
Lastly, keep up to date on my new web series, Sierra Talks Books with Authors on my BookTube channel. New interviews added monthly.
So much to look forward to! I hope you’re as excited as I am about the future.

Nothing Ventured, Nothing Gained...
If you've read my books or followed me over the past few years, you know that I've dipped my toes a few times into MM and LGBTQ romance pool with
Physical Connection
(MM novella)
, Reckless: The Smoky Mountain Trio
(MFM menage) and my most recent MM book,
Change of Course.
But looking back, I think I may have unintentionally confused readers on what to expect from me in my books when I've bounced around too much between genres.
So, I've come to a conclusion.
I've decided to diversify my books and will now write under two different pen names: Sierra Hill (that’s me) and for those who enjoy MM/gay/LGBTQ romances, I introduce you to author K.C. Kassidy (also me, just a new version of myself).
Rest assured, I will continue writing sports and new adult romances featuring m/f love interests under the name Sierra Hill. I have several books planned throughout the year for my sports romance lovers! Including my college hockey romance, Playmaker (Moo U) , a World of True North publication, releasing June 7th.
I will also begin a new spin-off series from my Courting Love college basketball with The Pilots – a fictional NBA basketball in Seattle. The first book is entitled, The Girlfriend Game. More information coming soon.
And, if you sign up now to receive notifications about my K.C. Kassidy books and future new releases, you will automatically be entered to win a $10 Amazon gift card. YAY FOR BOOK MONEY!
No purchase necessary. Closes March 31, 2021. Winner will be notified via email the first week of April.
By entering, you agree to provide your email to K.C. Kassidy's mailing list and monthly newsletter. You can unsubscribe at any time but I sure hope you'll stick around to learn about all the great stuff to come!
You can follow me on my K.C. Kassidy social media on these locations:

And continue to watch out for new YouTube videos I’m producing with my Sierra Talks Books with Authors. My first interview of the year was posted in February with the lovely and sweet author/blogger C.G. Burnette and I’ll begin a new series of talks with my World of True North author cohorts this month.
That’s it for now!
Remember to Be Sweet. Love Hard. And Read Dirty.

Black History Month and Color Theory anthology...
Last May, after the tragic death of George Floyd and subsequent protests across the country related to the social injustices and the unnecessary police shootings and violence, my friend and sensitivity editor, Renita McKinney of A Book a Day Author Services, decided enough was enough. She was tired of the constant negativity and wanted to put her actions where her mouth was – in doing something about it. Changing perception, incorporating diversity in romance books, and encouraging the education of Black youth.Renita took action and sent out a call to action to authors to write and create original stories dedicated to demonstrating that love happens across borders, racial divides and skin color. And so her story began – the anthology of A Book A Day Presents: Color Theory. 17 Exclusive ALL-NEW romance stories by bestselling authors about couples who defy convention and follow their hearts.
These stories are all brand new and only available in this box set anthology.
Love is blind, but it's never easy. A Book a Day Presents: Color Theory is a collection of stories about love that is determined not by the color of one's skin, but by the connection of two hearts. They face challenges, but together they not only overcome—but soar. These couples know the color of one's skin can't determine who a person loves. Love is so much more.
This amazing anthology will only be available for a short time, and all the proceeds will go to the education of students of color. A Book A Day is teaming with a local organization in Renita’s hometown of San Antonio to provide scholarships to Black students that wish to expand their education beyond high school.
I am honored to have my short story, Above the Rim, featured in this collection of books. I hope you’ll consider purchasing this exclusive boxset now and help these students in their endeavor to enrich their lives and their educational knowledge.

The Good, The Bad and the Ugly of 2020...
I think it goes without saying – I will not be shedding any tears when I say goodbye to 2020 on New Year’s Eve. I will raise a glass (and possibly my middle finger) and usher in 2021 with a smile. But I do want to look back at the good things that were accomplished in 2020. While being under lock-down and quarantine due to COVID-19 left me a little stir crazy, it did most certainly give me the added time and renewed focus to achieve some things I might not have otherwise been able to do.
So, hats off to getting shit done in 2020!Ended the year with 32 published books in my portfolioPublished 6 new books (completed 9 books – 2 which will be published in early January and 1 other for a charity anthology in February 2021)Published 3 audiobooks (2 with Tantor Media and 1 with Cocky Hero Club ) and self-published 1 audiobook, Reckless Signed a contract for hockey romance with Heart Eyes Publishing to be published in early summer 2021Curated a 15-author collective to write a shared world series called The All American Boy Series (releases begin January 25th, 2021)Signed audiobook contract for Change of Course with Tantor (TBD 2021)Wrote and published 303,301 words!!!Won 2 awards – Game Changer was a runner up in the Buyers Best Book Awards and won the 2020 RONE Award from InD’Tale MagazineCreated a YouTube channel in May and interviewed/produced the Sierra Talks Books with Authors segment (a total of 13 videos!)
Sure, there were some really cruddy parts of the year and goals I didn’t reach that I would’ve liked to hit, but all-in-all, I’m happy with where things landed.
I’m also so excited to share the wonderful things I have planned for next year! One hint: it has to do with a new pen name or maybe even two!
Stay tuned for more!
In the meantime, make sure to add my January book releases, Change of Course and The Boy Next Door, to your Goodreads TBRs and get ready for what is sure to be a fabulous year of reading!
All my best for a very happy holiday season.
Be Sweet. Love Hard. Read Dirty.
