It was a long, arduous path of recovery from trauma, addiction, chronic pain, and mental health issues, and there are new learnings everyday. In addition, my memoir includes my father's heritage story, which is quite fascinating and inspiring, plus a criminal innocence story and fight for the freedom of Arthur Carmona. To answer your question specifically, the mystery in my own life that could be a fiction plot would definitely be having experienced stalking, exploitation, blackmail, and assault at the hands of the same man who was never prosecuted. Super interesting story it was very difficult to recover from. (less)
