After and during my seminary education, I served as a pastor. In two different associate pastor roles I gave leadership to educational ministries, guided small group ministries, counseled, taught, and preached.
Later I served several years as a senior pastor, then transitioning to work as a hospice chaplain. All told, I was a pastor for 20 years and a chaplain for 15.
While a chaplain, my wife (a counseling psychologist) and I helped lead a personal growth workshop and guided marriage retreats.
These days we're both retired and operate a country guesthouse.
