From an early age, I was drawn to books. When my parents took me to the shopping mall, they’d drop me off at the bookstore and return hours later to find me still wandering the aisles, lost in pages. At my grandmother’s house, I was captivated by her set of World Book Encyclopedias—each visit meant pulling a new volume off the shelf and discovering something I hadn’t known before. It was clear even then: I had a deep love for reading.

Over the years, that love turned into a passion for collecting and devouring books, especially in the realms of history, historical fiction, and thrillers. As a fan of historical fiction, this book was a fun read. It was a quick read, and with a little research on the Dreyfus affair, the characters and situations came more to life. Recommended.
