Heidi K. Allen lives in Salt Lake City, Utah. In addition to writing, she works in IT and is a mother to two little girls. She always has a book with her and deeply believes in the power of words and stories. An unapologetic nerd and child of the 80's, she loves all things fantasy, science fiction, supernatural, horror, and mystery.

Heidi is also drawn to and writes about women (and men) who embody elements of fierce grace—courage, fallibility, empathy, savvy, kindness, and grit. Characteristics she hopes to cultivate in herself and her daughters.
