MDM-GG Book Launch

Thank you to everyone who came out to our book launch for Million Dollar mafia for the Greater Good.

It was a wonderful night with a reading form the book and a question and answer session. My co-writer Mike Reinhart is a first time author who had the idea for this book. Together we made something really special.

The novel is now available on Amazon in paperback and ebook. It’s also included in Kindle Unlimited.

Time to Announce…

The process is almost finished. MDM-GG is at the proofreaders and the cover is almost done. So I think it’s time to give you a little more information. MDM-GG is the acronym for our new novel…

Million Dollar Mafia for the Greater Good

Our story centers on five guys who have been friends since high school. One day, they’re sitting at their favourite sports bar in Toronto, complaining that despite their good jobs, they can’t afford decent tickets to see Blue Jays game down the street.

Th...

We’re cooking with gas now :)

Things are moving along very quickly.

The feedback is in for MDM-GG and it’s been really positive. Honestly I was a little worried because over the past few years, I’ve been concentrating on my romance writing (as Susan Lyn) and spicy writing. Neither genre are known for their complex plot lines.

MDM-GG is a chess game between the good guys and the villain with many moving parts. I’m happy to learn I was able to pull it all together into a compelling story that keeps the reader engaged a...

More books to come

I have been a busy little beaver these past few weeks.

MDM-GG is almost ready to send out to the beta readers. Once I incorporate their feedback, I’ll send it out to my ARC readers for any last minute suggestions before the manuscript goes to my copy editor.

It’s going to be a tight turnaround, but I think you’ll really enjoy the story. This one isn’t necessarily a young adult novel. It has a bit of swearing and deals with intelligently bending the rules to make the world a better place…...

Coming this fall MDM-GG

I thought it was time I let you all know what I’ve been working on.

A fellow writer and I have been creating a story of intrigue, kidnapping, manipulation, and working in secret for the greater good. It will be his debut novel and my third (writing as Sue Nelson Buckley).

Estimated release date is November 29th, 2025. Just in time for Christmas.

I’ll keep you posted on our progress and reveal the title and covers once they are ready. This genre is a little out of my comfort zone but ...

January 17, 2025

It’s been awhile.

It’s been a busy few years in my non-writing life. Things didn’t work out entirely as planned but all was not lost.

I did manage to revise both novels that I published back in 2009 and 2010. They are updated and better than ever. While I thought they were pretty good to begin with 🙂 the technology needed an update. No more mention of CDs or phones with antennas.

Currently I’m working on a Time Travel Pirate novel written by my brother. It was always his dream to get this book published an...

The Trouble With Jake

Coming In November 2021

Kathryn has it all figured out. She’s halfway toward getting her degree and her boyfriend proposed last night.

Then, she finds him, in his childhood bedroom doing not so childish things to her best, err former best friend.

She drives all night. In the morning, she wakes, realizing in her grief, she headed to her favourite summer place, the wharf at White’s Bluff. When she was a kid, she imagined she had an imaginary protector here. God knows, she could use a pr...

Hiding In Plain Sight

Available on Amazon and through Kindle Unlimited

Hilary is thrilled to see her new neighbours have a gorgeous son around her age. Even his name was hot, Ben. Although, she could do without his pesky little sister, Alex, glaring at her every move.

That evening she sees something unexplainable and decides to keep her distance, but Ben doesn’t let her avoid him for long and soon they are inseparable.

A few weeks later, Hilary sees strange purple lights weaving in and out over the bog be...

New Series

I really like these interwoven worlds where I can catch up with characters without needing and epilogue to the epilogue. It’s like reconnecting with an old friend when you least expect it or like feeling as if you are seeing the characters in real life after their story has been told (or in some cases, being introduced to them before their story hits the pages)

TS Joyce is a great example of this type of series. In her first series, we meet one group of people (well, in this case, Shifters). ...

Nano 2020

We made it to November. Any other year it wouldn’t seem like such a big deal but this year, 2020, I feel like we should all get a gold medal for getting this far instead of the usual ribbon for participation.

I mean seriously, Covid 19, murder hornets, double digit number of hurricanes, I’m afraid to watch the news because I’m not sure we can take anything else. We all say 2020 is bad but then we have to remember that the world isn’t going to right itself on Jan 1st, 2021. We’re in this for ...
