LIDDY-JEAN MARKETING QUEEN
Hello!
I am pleased to let you know that my 4th book was released in June 2024 and if you decided to give it a read, I would be so excited to hear what you think of it!
Liddy-Jean Marketing Queen:
Liddy-Jean Carpenter has learning disabilities, and a genius plan. While she spends her days doing minor office tasks with nobody really paying attention, she sees how badly the boss treats the Marketing Department workers. So, she decides to write a business book to teach bosses how to be better. Liddy-Jean loves working with Rose and her new friend Jenny, but she does not like Rose’s creepy boyfriend, so she sets her sights on saving Rose. She knows that love is love, Rose needs her help, bosses should do better, and just about everybody needs the services of Liddy-Jean Marketing Queen!
If you are wondering what I have been up to…
After a long battle with writer’s block after a death in my family, the third book in my trilogy was at last published in 2023. This means the writing of the 3 books below spanned from 2007-2023! I will definitely not win any awards for speed, but sometimes life gets in the way. I am happy to be back in full swing. The romcom trilogy titles:
- Greetings From Jamaica Wish You Were Queer
- Camptown Ladies
- 80% Done with Straight Girls
Other fun facts: I am now making independent films through my production company, Love Is Love Productions!
My first film, The Sibling Rule, was picked up by the streaming service LESFLICKS and did well in film festivals, grabbing 5 wins. I hope you get a chance to see it. The concept of the film: Two women fake a marriage to take advantage of the sibling rule which will keep their kids in the same school together, but complications arise when the marriage becomes real.
My second film: RETREAT is in post-production: Two women meet at a log cabin woman's retreat, only to find out they are connected by a recent tragedy.
It is my goal to make all my novels into films or series, if I can land with a larger production company due to the cost of making films. Hoping to get a few known leading actresses to play the lead characters...any suggestions on who should play the roles? Would love to hear your recommendations!
xoxo

My second novel in the series: Camptown Ladies is now in audiobook production and hope to have it available by Christmas 2021!
Also, some more exciting news, my third novel in the series, also published by Bywater Books, will be out in Spring 2022! I hope you check out the romantic comedy adventures of the Santora family in:
80% Done With Straight Girls
(Yes, it is as crazy as the title implies!) Hope you like it, and please reach out and let me know! :) Always appreciate it if you can find the time to write a review on GoodReads or Amazon, or wherever you buy your books! Much appreciated in advance.
A special thank you to the die hard fans who have been checking in with me all these years, letting me know they want to see that third novel in the series become available soon...finally I can say that it will be! Thank you for your patience and your encouraging friendship when life got in the way and I stopped writing for a while.
One last thing....my 4th book will be published also in 2022, title: Liddy-Jean, Marketing Queen. I sure hope you will check it out.
OK, I lied...
There is the last thing: I am filming a short LGBTQ movie in October of 2021 based on one of my screenplays, called: The Sibling Rule.
Story: Two women fake a gay marriage to take advantage of The Sibling Rule, which will keep their kids in the same school together, then complications arise when the marriage becomes a bit too real.
I hope to be able to share that next year!
Thanks so much for reading all this and my books also, if you dare!
xoxo
