Razors pain you,
Rivers are damp,
Acids stain you,
And drugs cause cramp.
Guns aren't lawful,
Nooses give,
Gas smells awful.
You might as well live.”

Just finished The Tale of Edgar Sawtelle by David Wroblewski. This is a powerful story of good and evil. The writer weaves all the elements of the tale into the fabric of the story so that even though the ending is unexpected, it is there, slowly building to a heart wrenching conclusion. This is a story that will stay with you for a long time.
