Be Greateful
At the moment you're being blessed and most don't even know it. Stop paying attention to what it look like or how much the next has and give thanks for what you have. My pastor always emphasize, 'if you are grateful for what some may consider the small things he will make you ruler Over Many Great things.' Amen..

Slow Down
One door shut and another shall open but that don't mean you have to walk in. Satan has a way of making things look good but how long will it last? Satan has a way of making you believe that you are not worthy and that you better jump on the whatever you can get.... If you do not focus on what it look like and take the time to ask God if the move is for you... wait for the answer then you will make a mistake that you will later regret. #TrustGod

100 or Nothing
The hood served me justice as well as heartache and pain. It showed me that when it comes to being a victim everybody is fair game. My pen game is 100, because I write about what I know! Check out ZipCodez A Watts and Compton Tale Thanks in advance,
Aleta

Los Angeles, CA April 28 2010- ABL, an up and coming publishing company features, urban fiction that inspires and motivates, released author Aleta L Williams, who is stepping out on the urban fiction scene with a Christian twist.
Williams shocking and uncensored sequence of events in the life of Debo and Lana growing up in two of Southern California's most notorious neighborhoods, Watts and the city of Compton, sparks issues and raises controversy. Gang banging, abuse, criminal activity, incarceration and coming to know the love and salvation of God's mercy describe in the gritty language of urban America has raised some eyebrows. Narrated in the form of first person, the characters experiences are exciting, hardcore, informative, and sad. The twist and turns of this novel are the same as those on the street unanticipated and extraordinarily vivid.
Williams began to write Zipcodez in 2008 as a result of a dispute with her husband. He did not believe she had the talent to help write a script he developed an idea for. She took that as a challenge and began to configure the characters for Zipcodez. As she wrote, she realized that she could not only entertain but motivate and inspire people familiar with the urban community, looking for a way out and not seeing a choice.
Williams is also the founder of ABL. When asked why she decided to publish her first novel through an unknown publishing company she stated," I wanted my story out when I felt like it was ready. I know that God can open doors that no man can shut. This has been an extraordinary experience writing this novel and starting ABL. I know He has touched this project so I expect nothing more than the blessings that are continuously flowing."
