I am a professor at the University of Maryland, Francis King Carey School of Law, where I teach criminal law, criminal procedure, evidence, international criminal law, and jurisprudence. I also teach courses on law and society at the University of Maryland, College Park.

I have also published dozens of articles in leading law journals. Before I started teaching I practiced white-collar criminal law at a leading law firm in Washington, DC, and served as a judicial clerk.
