The dead travel fast

The Dead travel fast has gone off for proofing and will be published in June. It is the second in the Ancient Gramarye series and begins six months after Skendleby.
Dead travel Fast follows the Skendleby narrative but is based on the Greek island of Samos which I know well. The island has a disturbing history and some strange gaps in the archaeological record.
It is only in this book that the the characters begin to grasp an inkling of the scale and enormity of the powers they are up against.
I think it will surprise you.

The Dead Travel Fast.

I've started to revise this follow up to Skendleby for publication in June. I think readers will see that it moves the plot on and into unexpected areas. After a first few chapters it becomes clear that what seemed to be a parochial haunting is part of something vast and terrifying. Watch out for Theodrakis and Vassilis.

Public reading of Skendleby

I enjoyed the reading in Oldham more than I'd imagined: things come alive with an audience. Sold all the copies and took orders for more. Then traced the Skendleby walk through the Neo Gothic sections of Manchester. The christmas lights added to the macabre particularly town hall, Rylands and narrow passagewy leading to "The Hidden Gem."
