I'm a Southerner, born and raised in the Bourbon Belt of Kentucky. After living and teaching in Southeast Louisiana, I now embrace a laid-back coastal lifestyle along the sugar-white beaches of the Mississippi Gulf Coast.

The chords from each of these geographical areas resound loudly in my writing because their atmospheric values provide comfort and inspiration. Hello, fellow readers! I write fantasy fiction, specifically magical realism with a healthy dose of dark romance. I'm heavily influenced by the Southerners' familiarity with folk magic, spiritualism, buried secrets, and the acceptance that life's journeys often converge on rocky roads.
