Off To Editing...
I've completed my first self-edit and have officially passed "Killing Business" along to my editor. Now that that's off my plate, I can return to working on "Dark Mistress."
...though I still need to work on the blurb for "Business." Dang it.

New Book Announcement!
Coming in 2025: "Killing Business: A Law of Teeth Story"
After a workplace accident, Geoff's werewolf identity might be compromised. How far is he willing to go to protect himself... and his pack?
This is another adaptation of a NaNoWriMo story I did years ago. I was always planning to release it this year, but I'm taking a step back from working on "Law of Teeth #3: Dark Mistress" - mostly due to writer's block issues.
I'm hoping that immersing myself in an already-finished Geoff story will help kickstart things in my brain and get "Dark Mistress" back on track.
I still plan to release both books this year, but it may very well be that "Killing Business" comes out first.

OctoWriMo Underway... Kind Of...
Didn't get as many words in on "Dark Mistress" as I wanted to, but at least I've started the book. Unlike the previous two books, I don't have as clear an idea what's going to happen. I have some broad bullet points, characters I want to introduce and how they're going to interact with Geoff and the pack.
Still working out how to weave that into something approaching a plot.
Also, I thought I had a good handle on the way the book was going to start but it was harder than I expected to put any words down. I realize it's the first draft and that's what editing is for, but I struggle with that aspect. I can't write rough; it needs to have at least a little bit of polish on it.
So... yeah. But at least I got some writing done today. Hopefully tomorrow will be better.
