K. J. Thorne is a lover of all things romance and fantasy. Growing up reading Dragonlance and Forgotten Realms, she yearned for adventure. Through study abroad programs, college provided her the opportunity to travel and live in Asia and the British Isles while she studied Japanese, Korean, and tourism. She spent the years after graduation exploring North America and leading others across the islands of Japan. Ms. Thorne didn’t start writing until her thirties when she discovered the stories in her head had the potential to be just as good as some of those in print. Now back with her family and pets in the good Ol’ U.S.A. she writes during her lunch hour and dreams of the day she can survive without a nine-to-five
