Herbert F. Hopkins is a retired teacher with a passion for the arts. He has written three well-received novels, "The Book of Luke,'' "Temperance Street," and "New Found Land." He is also the author of a book of poetry, "A High of Zero." The original hand-carved cover volume of '"A High of Zero" resides in the Rare Books Collection of the National Library. Hopkins' most recent work is an illustrated children's book "Jesse and the Seven Wonders of the World."
