Historyk i publicysta, doktor, konsultant historyczny tygodnika "Wprost", były pracownik Instytutu Pamięci Narodowej.

Zajmuje się polską emigracją polityczną, Polonią i historią opozycji antykomunistycznej w PRL. Jest absolwentem Uniwersytetu Gdańskiego - w 1997 roku obronił pracę magisterską w Instytucie Historii, a w 2003 doktoryzował się; w latach 2003-2005 był adiunktem na UG. Dwukrotny stypendysta Polonia Aid Foundation Trust w Londynie (2000 i 2004). W 2000 otrzymał grant Fundacji Kościuszkowskiej w Nowym Jorku. Od 2005 roku jest stypendystą Free Speech Foundation w Chicago[1].

W latach 90 XX w. był redaktorem naczelnym dwumiesięcznika "Zawsze wierni" wydawanego przez tradycjonalistyczne Bractwo Świętego Piusa X.
