Marketing - The Indie's Burden
Posted a Reels Ad on Meta. Quite the experience, for those who have never done it. For an indie author, marketing is the necessary evil in the art. Writing an amazing book is, quite frankly, not all that hard. Cutting through the chatter of millions of other books to get yours noticed, engage potential readers, and convince them your story is worth their valuable time is a far more refined skill.

| A great concept, a monster lurking in your neighborhood. The book had a slow start, a strong second act, and meandered a bit at the finish. The final chapters serving as the epilogue were a bit too lengthy for my taste. Overall, a good read. | |

"For a debut novel there is some great stuff. This book had a few too many plot lines to tie up in a way that didn’t feel rushed. I did like the ending and how it lends itself to a sequel. I think Scott has a bright future ahead of him. "
