Victor Stabin was born and raised in New York City. He attended the Art Students League, The High School of Art and Design, Art Center College of Design and the School of Visual Arts. As an early-career illustrator, Victor received commissions from Time, Newsweek, The New York Times, Rolling Stone, Scholastic, Random House and Disney. He created an album cover for the rock band KISS, and nine U.S. postage stamps. He crafted a mural for RCA/BMG headquarters in NYC, and has multiple pieces hanging in his favorite radio station, WNYC, and in many important private and public collections.
His work has been displayed at the National Portrait Gallery and in a one-man exhibition at the Allentown Art Museum that featured the working sketches, doodle ...more

The National Endowment for the Arts (NEA) was looking to provide grants to artists from previously unfunded regions.
