Leticia Sánchez Ruiz es una periodista y novelista española, ganadora en 2009 del IX Premio de Novela Emilio Alarcos por su novela Los libros luciérnaga y en 2011 del Premio Ateneo Joven de Sevilla de Novela por El Gran Juego.
Licenciada en Ciencias de la Comunicación por la Universidad Pontificia de Salamanca, comienza su trayectoria colaborando con diversos medios de comunicación como columnista, redactora y crítica literaria. Ha publicado sus cuentos en los periódicos asturianos Oviedo Diario y El Comercio. Reside actualmente en Oviedo (Asturias), donde desarolla su labor periodística y literaria.
