April 2016 Update
What's New: THE SECRET BETWEEN THEM releases today in paperback. This is a Wallis Point, NH, connected book:
What I'm working on now: Currently finishing revisions for THE GOOD MOM, a follow-on story to OUT OF HIS LEAGUE. This will be up for preorder soon, with a to-be-published date of October 2016.
How is Otis the cat? Fantastic, thanks for asking! :-) He's 16 now and fully recovered from last summer's poisoning scare. Still primarily an outdoor cat, he hangs out on my desk with me only if the weather is bad.
They share more than a past
A Marine wounded, weary and wiser, Kyle Northrup had planned to stay far away from Wallis Point. But after his stepfather’s passing, he must return home and claim his unexpected inheritance: the ice rink he grew up on.
Except he has to share ownership with Jessica Hughes, the hometown girl who got away and whose figure skating career he ended. He’d hoped the rink would save him once more, as it had when he was a grief-stricken youth, but working with Jessica will be hard.
Especially since his teenage infatuation is now full-blown adult attraction. And the last thing he wants to do is hurt Jessica again.

What's Otis the Cat up to? Ruling the neighborhood. He's savoring the great weather and mooching treats whenever the outdoor grill is turned on. Winter is coming, though, and he'll soon be joining me back in the writing office.
