Alyssa Scheidemann grew up in Wayne, New Jersey, and moved to Florida when she was 15, where she currently resides. As a poet, writer, and author, she always loved reading poetry and books all her life which led to her love of writing, especially poetry and stories.

Alyssa holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication and a minor in Interdisciplinary Studies from Florida Gulf Coast University, along with a focus in creative writing. She also holds a Master of Arts degree in Mass Communications, with a Global Strategic Communications focus from University of Florida.

Alyssa has had four articles published in a (now defunct) local magazine called Pulse Magazine. She currently publishes articles, poetry, and reviews on HubPages.

September 2019 Update

Hi all!

I thought I’d add an update to this site. I had taken a little hiatus from writing, publishing, and having book signings and attending events, due to studying for my Masters degree among other things I had going on in my life that needed my full attention. But I am making my way to working on projects again!
