Jim Condelles is a two-time Emmy Award-winning former broadcast journalist, a 15 year veteran of the TV news trenches. His experience spans reporting and news anchoring assignments in large U.S. markets, including network-affiliated stations in Indianapolis, Kansas City, and Memphis.

Covering the anniversary of the death of Elvis Presley, he received in the mail an anonymous audiotape with a homemade Elvis recording—return address unknown. This life-long mystery is the inspiration for a fictional world where a still-living Elvis and his young reporter companion search for meaning in late 1980s Memphis, Tennessee.
