October Update (with Event News)!

Oh dear Lord...

So, it's been a while. Everything after May had gone as smoothly as you can imagine for a starting indie author. Lots of scheduling to make, events to apply for, taxes reports to learn about doing. That sort of thing.

I'm so sorry it took a while to come back to Goodreads here. Although I don't know who would be reading this blog posts at the moment, if you're out there-Well met (again)!

Now that I'm attempting to iron out a better schedule for myself, I'd like to propose this: every end of the month, I will write a recap on all the highlights that took place. Share some news and events (maybe some art if I can learn to format it in properly on these posts) and create something a little different from my email newsletter (which if you aren't subscribed to, you can find it in my profile link. I sometimes have exclusive tidbits in there that you can't find anywhere else!).

With that in mind, if you happen to find yourself in Azle, TX this Saturday, pop on into The Reading Rabbit bookstore to see me, Your Queen of Medieval Romantasy, there for a book signing/meet' n' greet. And if you purchase your copy that day, you also get an exclusive item you will not find anywhere or anytime else-once it's gone, it's gone! (See a sneak peek of the item on Insta. Also in my profile link)

Until next month, may your days be filled with joy, and your tomes with "crown jewels and scepters"!

End of May Update

Well met, Traveler!

We have just seen The Full Cup Book Signing Event off (a very great turnout filled with wonderful people and delicious libations), and now we look to the next event on the schedule. Happening September 20th to 21st, your queen shall be a vendor at the Spooky Spectacle convention in Granbury, TX. Copies of A Melodic Enchantment and merchandise (follow me on my other socials for more information!) will be available. Do not miss out, especially if you are an individual that thrives on all things creepy, ooky, and thrilling!

With luck, mayhap we will also be seeing one another at an earlier event this year? Only time will tell. Until then, may your journey be enlightening!

Upcoming Events!

Hear Ye, Hear Ye!

I have come to tell you about May and all its fabulous events to unfold.

Not only will we be seeing the debut release for the novel A Melodic Enchantment, the start of the Romances of Runlaris series, but also seeing its physical release in the local indie bookstore Arts and Letters. Its two locations in Granbury and Weatherford, TX will always feature signed copies, and for a limited stock have a free art print and sticker sheet included!
If you would like to support the bookstore from afar, you can type in their website artsandlettersbooks.com, hover over the Books tab, and click Shop. It will take you to the Bookshop.org website with an automatic affiliate link attached (although, the copies sold through there will not have any art prints or sticker sheets). Find your copy online and through Arts and Letters on release day (May 6th)!

And at the end of the month, the 24th (a Saturday), you may find me at the local coffee shop/used bookstore The Full Cup in Weatherford, TX (off of South Main Street). I'll be signing books for the day and also offer a limited amount of paperbacks and hardcovers with the same free sticker sheet and art print. Come get a copy of A Melodic Enchantment and a drink down at the Full Cup (especially if you're in the mood for an oh-so-delectable frappe and some good grub)!

ARC Applicant Update

Hello!

Before I dive into the topic at hand, let me just say that I am not familiar with Goodreads blogs. And I'm not quite sure if there's anyone out there that'll be reading this on the regular. But! This does seem intriguing enough to try my hand at for some sort of weekly/monthly update should there be a readership for this (of course, this isn't to say this'll replace my email newsletter, which will dive a little further into detail with some exclusives and such on individual books in RoR!).

For right now, I'd like to update those who had applied for the ARC Team/ARC Reader survey earlier last month. It's come to my attention that the majority of emails I sent went to people's Spam/Junk folders. If this applies to you, reader, please reach out to me at my email, this platform, or the original email (if retrievable) letting me know your thoughts on the subject matter or if I'll need to resend your results via email.

Thank you for your time, and have a good weekend!
