So, I have a new cover design for Summer's Shadow, book one in the Sierra Winters and The Void series. I will post that and update the book soon. I am going to publish the novel and finish/publish the rest of the series before moving onto my next series. After doing a lot of research, talking to self published authors who used to be traditionally published, as well as some NYT bestselling YA authors still with traditional publishers, I have decided to go this route for the time being. Very interesting information from both sides that leaned me heavily in this direction. My experience with traditional publishing was a mixed bag. I know some readers shy away from self published novels, but there are some great authors out there who do this and I have read plenty of traditionally published novels that shouldn't see the light of day, and plenty of self published ones that should have been traditionally published. Definitely a ying/yang on both sides for sure.

I will be updating a lot of information over the coming months so watch this space, and page!

Howdy Everyone!

Here is a brief update on my writing (besides the screenwriting/producing).

My YA novel, Summer's Shadow, is solely my property as my publisher and I have parted ways. Book two, Fall's Fury, is nearly finished. I am unsure as to what I am going to do with the series as most agents are not accepting previously published works. I may self publish Summer's Shadow and soon Fall's Fury as an e-book and perhaps use Lightning Source by Ingram as the physical book distributor which allows me to also have a better shot of bookstores wanting the book(s). I can also gain some exposure this way for the series thus giving me a better shot at an agent later on. Summer's Shadow is in limited supplies via Amazon and Barnes and Noble and a few other online distributors so if you want a hardback of the original version before it goes extinct grab one now! If you want it signed just let me know :)

I am currently working on a new YA fantasy novel (which I plan as a series) that I am very excited about (and will be pitching to agents).
