Felicia IANCU is a bilingual poet, translator, and international legal consultant living between Romania and Cyprus — between continents, languages, and lives.

She began writing poetry at the age of eight.

Her work grew quietly in the shadows of notebooks and memory until, in October 2025, it rose luminous into life and reading — shining with the strength it had always carried within.

All her published volumes belong to a single poetic series, SONG FOR LIFE, unfolding within the larger cycle FELICITY: GEOGRAPHY OF BEING — a lyrical mapping of existence across languages, love, and time.

I’d ask him nothing. I’d only offer him one of my own poems and watch if the wind carried it back to shore.
For me, that’s what writing feels like — sending a message to a world that may never answer, but might still remember your voice.(less)

Author Update – November 2025

Every universe begins with a sound — mine began with a Song.
Song for Life was the breath of awakening, Song for You the heartbeat of love and madness, The Vigil Hour the healing whisper after chaos, and The Hour of Love the return to innocence.

Felicia Iancu Every book I’ve written belongs to a single heartbeat — Song for Life.
From The Vigil Hour – Poems from the Heart of Turmoil, and the Healing with Life to Song for You and Song for Life itself, they are not separate stories but one continuous breath: light, love, eros, remembrance.

I began writing as a child in Bucharest, long before I knew that words could cross oceans. These poems waited in the dark for years, and now they stand in the light — where they always belonged.

Poetry is not what I do. It is what I am.

Felicia Iancu I wrote SONG FOR LIFE – Poems from the Edge of Being entirely in English — not as a translation, not as an experiment, but as an act of instinct. English has been part of my inner rhythm for so long that it no longer feels borrowed. It is the space where my thoughts unfold, where silence finally finds words.

This collection was born between Bucharest, Djibouti and Cyprus, during a time when I felt that language was the only form of shelter left. The poems came like fragments of breath — short, lucid awakenings that refused to vanish. I didn’t plan a book. I was simply writing to stay alive.

The voice of SONG FOR LIFE is intimate but unsentimental. It speaks to the threshold between pain and rebirth, to the strange clarity that follows after loss. Each poem carries the trace of an inner crossing — from anguish to light, from confusion to stillness.

I often say that it is not a book about grief, but about rebirth, and I mean that literally. It is a journey through the landscapes of the soul, an attempt to rebuild the self from what was once broken.

When my English-Romanian bilingual edition reached #5 worldwide in Amazon’s Eastern European Poetry eBooks (October 18, 2025), it felt as if a door had quietly opened between continents — proof that poetry still travels on breath alone.

To every reader who stopped for even a single verse: Thank You. You are part of the heartbeat that keeps these poems alive.
