It is super hard to get picked up by a publisher but whatever the result keep at it and keep persevering. (less)

What was your inspiration for writing "Traitor and the Thief"? What gave you the idea or the 'spark'?

The initial spark was when the idea popped into my head that 'Sin' would make a great name for a character. I had decided to give the book a Victorian setting and was debating whether 'real' magic would be a part of the world. As a magician myself I was fascinated how Victorian magician's presented new science discovery's as magic and I decided to use science instead of magic. After that the story naturally gravitated towards being Steampunk.
