Being an author includes wearing many hats. This week, the edits can back on my Signature Dishes book. They’re not bad but do require some follow-up. Things like, what date is this from? What’s the name of the newspapers? It this yield correct? I have until the 28th, but I’m almost done with the edits…

I’m happy to report that my new book, Signature Dishes of America: Recipes and Culinary Treasures from Historic Hotels and Restaurants, will be released on October 1st. You can preorder it now. The book includes well-known recipes and their origins as well as beloved recipes from hotels and restaurants across the country.
