G.J. Griffiths is a retired science teacher with some early working experience of the photographic industry. Born in the UK he enjoys reading most genres of fiction such as sci-fi, crime/detective thrillers, historical and wildlife stories. Non-fiction reading mainly includes scientific or historical books. Walking in the English, Scottish or Welsh countryside with binoculars ready for bird-watching or other wildlife is a particular pleasure.
His first novel was Fallen Hero and the So What! series of three books followed. All three are focussed on the fictitious Birch Green High School. More recent works include poetry: Dizzyrambic Imaginings, two illustrated children’s sci-fi stories about ant-size aliens and historical novels based upon r

After a lovely day out when we returned to their home there was a a complete set of scaffolding from the ground to roof. It covered all of the front of their house and my daughter knew nothing of it! We contacted my son-in-law who was in China at the time. He had not arranged it either. His car which was on the front drive was almost completely 'caged in' by the scaffolding poles around it. Who had done it?(less)
