The Night of the Escape, Part 3 (Blood Ties Bonus Scene)

The temperature dropped a few degrees through the door, and even through her runners she could feel the change in the floor as it switched from linoleum to a rough patch of poured, cross-hatched concrete, and then to the smoother, older variant that occupied the rest of the halls. Up ahead, lights she hadn’t been able to reach during her earlier use of power cut across the end of the hall—bright, stark, and illuminating every subtle bow and dip in the floor for several meters before even thei...

The Night of the Escape, Part 2

Hey there, have you read Blood Ties and are aching for a bonus scene? Here’s part 2 of The Night of the Escape. I’m keeping these things in chapter-length, so this will have another part show up. Likely this week. Happy reading!

Karin Makos landed in the parking lot with a solid crunch of gravel, teetered for a moment, then lurched toward the nearest car before her balance had caught up with her, eager for the brief security of its shadow. Going back over the wall made her feel more vulnerab...

Enter to Win!

Blood Ties, the third book in The Eurynome Code, is on pre-order and to celebrate I’m giving away some cold, hard cash.

Okay, so maybe it’s more digital gift cards cash–but it still counts, right? Wouldn’t it be nice to wake up on December 26th to a new gift card in your e-mail inbox?

Yes. Yes, it would. So scroll down and (potentially) treat yourself to some money–and check out the book. It’s on a special 99 cent pre-order price.

Together again, and ready to bring the system to its knees...

Renegades, Book 2 of The Eurynome Code

Phew, a bit late on this one! (That’s the last time I ever plan a vacation around book launch time.) Renegades came out on September 30th, and I’ve spent the time between then and now (after the vacation) racing to finish the third book, Blood Ties, which will come out later in December.

I’m having an absolute blast writing these books.

Anyway, without further adieu, allow me to introduce Renegades:

The Shadows have taken over half of the system, and Karin is the only one who can fight back....

Black Dawn, Book 1 of The Eurynome Code

Fall is a great time for space opera, isn’t it?

As I’ve put an (at least temporary) end to The Mieshka Files, I’ve since devoted my time into launching a whole new series. It’s been my secret project since January, when I wrote the first book, but I’ve been keeping it for a while in part due to funding and also since Palace of Glass decided it needed another 40,000 words before its story was properly finished. As it currently sits, I have two books on the road to release in The Eurynome Code...

48 Books, One Winner.

Palace of Glass is chugging through its second draft–and I’m sponsoring a giveaway!

SCIFI-Fantasy-Paperback-GiveawayBooks, ice cream, and ponies are pretty much my favorite things in the world, but only one of those is really viable to give away across international borders. I’m part of a group that has put together a good chunk of our favorite Science Fiction and Fantasy books for one big giveaway. It is open internationally, but there are some restrictions (alas, Taiwan is one of those restrictions…). The books are curre...
