Banned again
Recently, I took a chance and updated the cover art for A Grimm & Dirty Omnibus:
This is a book from 2013 currently available in paperback and audiobook–for who knows how long. Grab it fast if you’re interested. Here’s why:
Back in 2013-2014, Amazon started flagging this book as public domain. It’s not public domain, as the explicit sex scenes throughout the book were penned solely by me. That’s my work and original prose. HOWEVER, some of the book set off an alert related to the ancient folklore the tales are based on: The Brothers Grimm.
I wrote this book to be a sort of faux-scholarly collection of twisted tales. Basically, I wrote out what I felt was the perverted truth between the lines. It has been consistently my best-seller among all of my works among all of my pen names for over a decade.
Evidently I am so convincing a writer, Skynet thinks it is a translation rather than a fictionalization. They banned the ebook years ago, and no amount of showing them original text would appeal to their ban-bots and low paid customer service professionals. I suppose a part of me thought that perhaps programming had advanced since then, but…no.
To be fair, they would have left it alone if I had left it alone, but I really had grown tired of the outdated covers…and I thought the cover showing the naughty scholar sneaking through the library with a book of filthy fairy tales better represented the collection of short stories. Le sigh.
ALSO, I’m in the process of launching it to other distribution channels via audiobook (not just Audible/iTunes), so it seemed like the perfect moment to update the cover.
Well, you can guess what happened. Amazon flagged it again–this time the paperback. Right now, it seems to still be available, although as you can see, they didn’t update the cover.
She’s lovely! But I feel the new cover better represents the book:
Alas, this version is available…nowhere! Because Amazon won’t update it, and it’s really just a legacy title at this point. I have no plans to republish it. I know paperbacks are available through other publishing platforms, but I just don’t have the time/interest required to do it.
Instead, as you may have noticed, I have begun the slow process of rewriting each of the eighteen European Grimm-related folktales that I eventually produced in the Grimm & Dirty series. I unpublished the previous three-book anthologies and individual stories–some long ago, some only recently–and so far, I have completely rewritten and published the first three.
This time, I’m taking a more…how should I say this?…fantasy-oriented approach. Instead of pretending I am the uncredited dirty Grimm Sister, I am writing original fairy tales as though I were a high fantasy writer from a hundred years ago. I’m calling the series The Dark Kingdom of Desire, and you probably already noticed blog posts related to those stories.
Oh, I’m just noticing that I neglected to share the cover for The Thorns of Desire:
I’m particularly proud of this one!
This story’s not available everywhere, because some publishers aren’t into it…but right now it’s at Amazon and Smashwords.
If you’re interested in The Dark Kingdom of Desire stories, just know they are NOT novels. They are short stories. I’m working on them in between other projects under other pen names, so I don’t have a release schedule or anything like that. I tend to get them done in little boosts of productivity. I suppose you could say I work on them when I’m feeling randy, baby.
I hope you enjoy the new aesthetic. In case you missed it, here are the previously shared covers:
The prose is good, too. I’m proud of the work I do, still. The simple truth is, most people reading erotica are looking for one of two things: explicit sex scenes to gratify themselves to, or romance that has some very spicy sex scenes to gratify themselves to. While I HAVE written one romance, none of my other projects are romantic in any way. They do have sex scenes. They are explicit. However, they’re not typical.
The work is terribly, terribly niche, my dears. But it never has been and never will be public domain.

Coming soon to a fairy tale smut e-tailer near you.
I have decided to rework my Grimm & Dirty Fairy Tales into newer versions. They’re still archaic in tone–at least, I hope they will sound to your ears as though they were written by high fantasy fairy tale nerds.
Good times.

Do you crave dirty fairy tales? Timeless classics twisted in the nomenclature of the times? Perhaps a few modern rewrites of old favorites?
In other words, are you a depraved pervert like Ms. End?
I’ve added the Grimm & Dirty Tales to Kindle Unlimited–those that weren’t banned by Amazon for being too filthy. Still, I think you’ll find what you need here.

#NewRelease – The Billionaire Who Atoned Me, by @AVioletEnd

I’m really not that fickle…
Update: Barnes & Noble link here, for Nook.
Alright, alright, I know I said I would write nothing new with the exception of Billionaire 7. I did mean that. I did.
But the opportunity presented itself to publish a boxed set of my own work and the work of five other erotic fantasy writers, and I agreed to do so. Originally I thought it was just going to be one set, then I realized it was going to be SIX boxed sets…and although I could submit previously-published works to my friends for their purposes, I realized that for my own purposes…and for yours…I really HAD to write a dirty story about an ogre.
A fan wrote to me months ago and asked for a Grimm & Dirty Fairy Tale about an ogre. So, without further ado, I present to you my latest (and last) Grimm & Dirty Tale, and five other scrumptious erotic fantasies for your amusement. The stories by Carl, J.M., Lexi, Skye, and Elixa are quite good. Gobble this collection up for $.99 while you can. I mean it about it being my last dirty fairy tale. I truly do.
Amazon or Smashwords
Other bookstores TBA.
