It will never be perfect. That's impossible. In the end though, if you just complete what you started, you suddenly have access to the world of other creators out in the world. Whether you ever make a dime off that project, you can still call yourself a writer, illustrator, carpenter, musician, or really whatever else. A lot of pride comes from that, and it makes creating the next thing so much easier. Just finish it.(less)

More often than not, it's really hard to get excited about working on a long term project. I have to force myself to sit down and do the work even if I don't feel like it, or even if the ideas aren't coming or if the drawings aren't working.

Sometimes pushing through helps you find something new that sparks that interest again.(less)
