I'm so excited! I checked this week and got a nice surprise, another 5 star review! The reviews are slower to come in at Amazon even though the sales are steady. But so far I have three 5 star, one 3 star and one 2 star for an average of 4/5 stars at Amazon for Dreams of the Queen.

I'm really happy with that!

This is the one of the posters I'll be using at the Houston Comicpalooza. They'll be a 6x6 billboard of them behind, then I'll have several more to sell and give away. They're printed on thick, professional quality paper, feel great, they're glossy and even better looking in person!

I’m finishing the short story about Captain Lewis’, a prequel to Dreams of the Queen, and I’ve whipped up some simple covers. I know, these aren't the most amazing book covers in the world, but since I’m going to be listing the story for free, I really can’t afford to spend a few hundred dollars on a cover artist. So this is my digital art. Considering that I’ve only started learning photoshop this year, I think I’m doing decently. It helps that I’ve been a self-taught color pencil artist for most of my life, so I have a eye for color, design and balance all of which transfer between media. Unfortunately, photoshop has a steep learning curve, yikes!

Okie-dokie… So I’d like y’alls opinions. Which one catches your eye? Which one do you like the most? I need some quick answers because I’m going to be uploading next week.

YES! My Amazon categories are fixed again!!!!! Amazon had a glitch last weekend. All my sales, which were keeping me in the top 100 of two subgenres (time travel and genetic engineering) vanished. Which means I basically became invisible to customers. ARGH! All my sales instantly stopped and my ranking has been dropping like a dead bird. I went from #80,000 ish in 3million ebooks to almost 400,000 in less than a week. SUCKS!!!! I emailed Amazon, they fixed it but said give it 72 hours... End of today was the deadline... YES!! I'm back up and running!

Three days is a long time to be patient when you've been hitting two genres for bestselling ranking. Hope I make some sales soon and bounce back up.
