Actor Rupert Grint. Photo by Sarah Dunn for Empire Magazine.

The soft-spoken, Franco-Italian accented International Supremacy Bureau lead agent Evan Knightley speaks on loyalty, being a ginger, and his two new charges, Agents Maia Highland and Roy Chambers.

Interview by Mellissa Thomas

1) So, in a few words, how would you describe yourself?

Old enough to make good decisions, young enough to take risks.

2) Let’s go there. You’re among the youngest of ISB’s lead agents. How do you handle the rigors of managing three hundred agents?

By doing what I ju...

New Bureau Evidence: Tenderfoot’s “Recompense” [Poem]

close-up of open records drawer

by Agent Maia Highland

Here’s the very first Tenderfoot poem drop we received.

A high-priority suspect left this one behind at the ISB Retention Compound in Vicenza, Italy as he gave us the slip.

(And probably a middle finger, too.)

You can find all the details of the jailbreak in Abstracted.

In the meantime, here’s a question for you: do you believe in heaven and hell? And what kind of message do you think a fugitive’s trying to send with a poem like this?

Review: Patterson’s ‘The Postcard Killers’ is a Car Wreck — Curious But Highly Unsettling

The Postcard Killers book coverWhat do you get when you mix two serial killers with serious psychological kinks, an eclectic mix of art and art history, globetrotting, Scandinavian journalism and policing, and a desperate NYPD detective?

The killers earn the titular moniker from their ritual of sending a postcard of their next target city to a journalist or reporter in that city wi...
