I wrote a book.
I'm calling it a stand alone psychological romantic suspense novel.
It's coming of age. It's thriller/suspense.
It's a mind f**k. It's a romance.
I keep going back through it. I keep leaving bread crumbs. I keep re-writing scenes until it reads just right. This is so different from my normal writing style that I have to go over it again and again so that it's just right.
I've been blessed to have some AMAZING and TALENTED eyes view this book so far. Their feedback has been essential in helping me craft this story to it's full potential. There were so many moments that I thought this book would play out slightly differently. Just small changes here or there... I'm pretty content with the end result so all that angst over how to execute the story line wasn't for nothing!
Can you believe that I wrote this book almost in it's entirety in November? Yup. I've been sitting on it that long. Pondering. Letting is marinate with my soul. Making sure I like every.last.thing.about.it. It's over 80 thousand words. I wrote 70,000 of those words in November alone. I really want you all to love this book. Like, throw -your- kindle- at- a- wall- that- book- was- so- damn- good, love it.
Jezebel will more than likely also have a novella prequel. The heroine is screaming at me to let her voice be heard. It will be titled ; Lying In Wait. I'm not going to tell you anymore about that piece but you can probably expect it to release shortly after Jezebel is live. I'm going to post the prologue from Jezebel here for you all to read.
