Back to Writing

Sunny California! Feels great after all the rain in the last two weeks. Not too conducive for writing, but I'll stay seated and get it done.

Working on Part Three of my new book which is Book Two of the series. Hoping to complete everything and submit in May.
Working title: The Color of Life - Sera's Story.

"A Brown Paper Bag and a Fine Tooth Comb" took years, mainly because I was really learning how to write and I still am. For me, the hardest thing to learn has been discipline. I'm gregarious, even when it comes to writing.

Back After Sick Leave

For the last ten months or so, I've been nursing joints and muscles that have been recalcitrant...they did not wish to behave. Doctors aren't sure if it's Rheumatoid Arthritis or Lupus. At any rate, I've been through 4+ months of physical therapy, I've adjusted my diet and I've refused to put another medication in my mouth. I have begun to feel better, have less joint pain and I'm ready to once again try to finish Book 2 in my four book series...a continuation of Claire's story in
"A Brown Paper Bag and A Fine Tooth Comb".

I have recently acquired a lot of interesting new friends on Goodreads.
Welcome!

Working on My Website

What a job! I've been helping to design my website for "A Brown Paper Bag and A Fine Tooth Comb" and have acquired great respect for webmasters. It should be completed in a week or so. Will post when it's ready.

Late-Bloomer

If Grandma Moses didn't start painting until her late 70s - why can't I write at the same time in my life. We, Moses and me, are September babies. She was born on September 7th and I on September 8th. Arthritis didn't stop her; it won't stop me!

Navigating Through Goodreads

For an old-timer with limited computer skills, it's difficult trying to be a quick study. But I'm getting there! I'm a little more knowledgeable each day. It's all beginning to make sense.
