In 2010, I was on a plane, staring out the window, and all of a sudden wondered what it would be like if a dragon were out there beside me... then a line popped into my head ('Normally it's the farmboys who become heroes in the stories with dragons. Kill the baddies, save the world, get the girl. Whoever wrote those stories never met the boys of Mason-Kline...')...

The line ended up changing as the idea gathered momentum, which was essentially, what would our technological world be like if dragons existed in it, these powerful, epic creatures of myth and magic? Could we learn to accept them? Could they learn to accept us? If not, who would win the war? Which side should we root for?

I hope that answered your question. Thanks and happy reading!

Joshua
