Beyond Time Release Day!

Hello and welcome to the party! Today is the release day for Beyond Time, Book Two of my Dark Order of the Dragon Series. When I tell you this was a labor of love, hate, frustration and tears I mean that from the bottom of my heart. I only hope all of you feel the same way.
Thank you for joining me on this epic journey back to Lance’s birthplace, Camelot.

~Blurb~

Christian Lancelot Du Lac was never one to take a situation seriously. Growing up he had always been the comedic relief to Jared Bonatelli’s brooding nature. Now, just as The Dark Order welcomes Jared as its new Prince, Du Lac is informed that he must become a first in command the future King can truly rely on. When he repeatedly fails in his attempts to prove himself, Lance is thrown back in time to where his life began, Camelot. What he finds there is more than he could have bargained for.

Drawn to the forest surrounding Camelot, Lady Elizabeth Payne searches for something that seems just out of her reach. Tormented by a pair glowing eyes in the mist she steals away in the middle of the night to find their owner. Thieves, a wolf and the most infuriating savior she has ever met turn her simple world upside down. But it’s the attraction she feels to the newcomer that truly takes her by surprise. Learning that he is Christian Du Lac, the long lost son of the First Knight himself peaks her curiosity even more.

Now on the cusp of meeting her betrothed for the first time, Elizabeth’s heart has been claimed by another. But even a betrothal written in blood is no match for fate.

For Lance and Elizabeth, the odds are stacked against them. Their worlds are destined to remain forever apart. Can time heal all wounds or will the fates change their course and let the star crossed lovers find each other once again?

~Excerpt~

His door closing woke Lance. He lay in his side, back to the door. The position gave him the opportunity to wrap his fingers tightly around the dagger beneath his pillow. The air stirred slightly, letting him know the trespasser was surveying their surroundings. Lance braced himself for the attack.
His first reaction–Zephyr had returned to test his patience again.
Instead of being assaulted by au de vampire, the soothing aroma of blooming heather filled him. Lance instantly relaxed, recognizing Elizabeth’s unique scent. Confused, he lay still waiting for her to make her move, but she stood near the door still as a statue. Silently he willed her to come closer. As if she heard him, Elizabeth stepped closer until she was mere inches from the bed.
Releasing the dagger, Lance rolled onto his back, eyes closed, waiting. Expecting to sense her fear, he was surprised when he felt was hesitence. He cracked open one eye, thankful the wolf’s night vision was still part of him. She stood, watching him sleep. The moonlight illuminated her face. Her emerald eyes sparkled. The soft curve of her cheek beckoned him to touch it. Her full pink lips parted slightly as she breathed. It took all of his resolve not to reach out to her and taste them.
The mattress creaked under her weight as she sat beside him. Lance immediately shut his eye. With a shaking hand she brushed the hair back from his face revealing a dark bruise on his cheekbone.
“This is entirely my fault. I’m so sorry,” she whispered.
Elizabeth touched it lightly. He winced, opening his eyes. His scalding hazel gaze met hers. Before she could pull back, he caught her wrist and pulled her closer. She gasped but did not pull away. His other hand cupped her cheek; his thumb caressing the velvet softness of it. Her lips parted to speak. Lance never gave her the chance. He pulled her down onto the bed, rolled over her, trapping her beneath him.
He nudged her nose with the tip of his. “You have no idea how dangerous this game is you play, cher.”
“I assure you, My Lord, ‘tis not a game I play.” She wiggled beneath him attempting to loosen his hold.
“Ah, I’d be very careful if I were you. Don’t start something you aren’t prepared to go through with, My Lady.” He pressed his arousal against the juncture of her thighs.
Elizabeth gasped. “You would not!”
He rubbed his stubbled cheek against her smooth one leaving a blush of pink flesh in its wake. Burying his nose in her wavy ginger tresses, he inhaled her scent, sighing. “No, I wouldn’t.” Lifting his head, Lance stared into the green eyes. “But I won’t lie and say the idea hasn’t occurred to me.”
“How dare you speak to me thus.” She tried to slap him, but Lance caught her hand, pinning it to the bed.
“How dare I? Okay, let’s examine this, shall we?” The corner of his mouth tugged with amusement. “You snuck into my room and caressed my face. I’m quite sure if I hadn’t stopped you, you would have crawled into bed with me to cuddle. Am I right?”
“Nay!” She hissed. “I came to make sure you were well. Your mother told me–”
Lance groaned leaning his forehead on hers. “And the mood is gone.”
“What? What did I do?”
Lance smirked. “A little lesson for you. When there is a man in your bed, never, and I do mean never mention his mother. Its cock-block central.”
She frowned. “I swear to the heavens your words confuse me. Cock-block? What does a rooster have to do with any of this?”
Laughter rumbled in his chest. “Not a rooster. It means, cher, that mentioning my mother has officially put me out of the mood to bed you. Is that better?” He let go of her hands and shifted off her.
“Nay.”
“Would you rather I did bed you then?” Lance wrapped a stray tendril of her hair around his index finger hiding his smile.
“Nay! ‘Tis not what I said.”
“Then tell me, Beth, what is it you came looking for? Why are you here?”
Instead of answering him, her hands framed his face and pulled him down to her. Their lips met. A bolt of lightning shot through him. Lance growled. The wolf pushed its way to the front, wanting to devour her. His tongue teased hers, tasting the sweet honey her mouth had to offer. Breaking the kiss, he nipped her bottom lip. “For someone who doesn’t want to be in bed with me, you have a hell of a way of showing it.”
She stroked the bruise on his cheek with her fingertips. “I did not come here to lay with you, Christian. I came to make sure you were safe. I was told that you fought with Sir Galahad.”
“Another lesson, cher. Don’t bring up the lil’ bro either.” He chuckled.
She let out a frustrated breath. “Then pray tell me, what I can say? I am trying to explain why I am here.”
“I’m teasing. Please, go on.” He brushed her lips with his.
“Like I said, I was told of the fight and had to see for myself that you were unharmed. I know the strength Sir Galahad has in his sword arm.”
Lance growled. “What’s that supposed to mean?”
She rolled her eyes. “It means he is a powerful knight. You shall see for yourself at the tournament.” She cupped the bruised cheek. “Judging from this, I can see you already know that.”
His hand covered hers as he turned his lips into her palm. “Yeah, well you should see him. I got in a few good punches too.”
“Oh, I fully intend to.” She pushed up and sat on the edge of the bed, arranging her cloak around her.
“What? Wait, there’s no way I’m letting you do that.”
“No way you will let me? I am sorry, Christian, you may be appointed my personal guard, but you have no claim over me. I am free to do as I wish. See who I want to see.” Standing abruptly, she put distance between them.
“And go from one bed to another in the middle of the night? Really, Elizabeth?”
“I am not a common whore and you will not address me that way.” Her hand connected with his already bruised cheek quicker than a cobra strike. The slap echoed in the darkness. Pain flared across Lance’s face.
His lip curled in a snarl. “If it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck . . .”
She stared at him blankly. “Nothing you say ever makes sense to me.” Elizabeth backed away till her heels hit the door behind her. “I was wrong to come here. I should have heeded your mother’s warning.” She turned and wrapped her fingers around the door handle.
“Beth, wait.” Lance rose and stepped behind her, resting his hands on her shoulders. “What did my mother say to you?”
“Lady Elaine said she would bend the King’s ear to break my betrothal, but . . .”
He turned her to face him. “But? What condition did she put on her help?”
Elizabeth kept her eyes downcast, focusing on the fabric she twisted in her fingers. “Her ladyship bade me to stay away from both you and Galahad.”
Lance cupped her face in his hands, gently forcing her to look at him. “And what reason did she give for that?” The wolf was alert and pacing in his mind.
“She said Sir Galahad was meant for something greater and you would be leaving again. She warned me to stay away from you both.”
His thumb traced her bottom lip. “And what is it you want?” He leaned in closer, his lips a breath away from hers.
“I do not know.” Her whisper was barely audible.
Reaching behind her, Lance opened the door. “Until you do, cher, I suggest you heed her warning and stay away.”
Elizabeth blinked and pulled away, pausing to glance in his direction once more before slipping into the torch lit passageway.Sandra BischoffBeyond Time

Welcome to a Vampire’s Camelot.

Hear the fanfare for a long lost Prince, one that never should have existed at all.

The sirens on the ambulance stopped as it pulled up behind the carriage. Two men climbed out of the cab and headed toward them. Jared held Giovanna’s limp form close. He kissed the top of her head, letting his tears fall on her blood streaked cheek.

One of the paramedics touched his shoulder. “Jared, I’m sorry man, but I have to do my job here. Don’t worry. I’ll take real good care of G for you. I won’t let anything happen to her.”

Jared lifted his eyes from Giovanna’s serene face, ready to shove the man away until he realized it was his brother. “You do, Tony, and it will be the last thing you ever do.”

“Listen bro, let me and Carlos take care of her. I called Dad, and I’m sure he already notified everyone. We can’t leave her out in the open like this. You can trust me. I’ll make sure she gets where she has to go safely.”

Jared watched, heartbroken as Tony lifted her from the carriage onto the waiting stretcher. True to his word, his brother was gentle and careful with her. When the ambulance pulled away, and he was left alone, he fell to his knees clutching her shawl in agony.

The tension in Jared’s body slowly faded with the memory. He couldn’t believe after all of this time it still affected him so much. Thank the gods above for the people who had shown him life was still worth living.

The sun set well over an hour ago, but Jared hadn’t bothered turning on the fluorescent lights. The full moon gleamed off the polished hardwood through the floor length windows, illuminating the room.

A shadow passed across the floor in front of him. Anyone else would assume it was an owl flying past the window or a cloud obscuring the moon. Except it moved too quickly. The untrained eye would have missed it, but not Jared.

Jared listened. The weight of the silence in the room was deafening. He focused on the darkened corners of the room. There was a presence here, and it was definitely vampire. He could feel its aura. He possessed a sixth sense for them.

The creak of leather allowed him to pinpoint the location of his intruder. Jared slowly wrapped his fingers around the wooden staff resting on the floor before him and waited.

Come to Papa, asshole.

The air in the room stirred. Jared smirked as a leather duster slid into view on the floor in front of him. His attacker was trying to throw him off. Did they honestly think he would fall for such a lame trick…again? He took nothing for what it seemed when dealing with vampires. No, Jared relied on his honed senses to keep his head on his shoulders when faced with a fight.

A breeze brushed over his arms. He brought his weapon up on his left side, blocking his attacker’s strike. The wooden staffs cracked together. Jared swung around keeping their weapons locked together until he fell into a ready stance.

The vampire backed up a step and twirled the staff at his side. He circled around slowly, just out of striking distance. Jared kept a wary eye trained on the male; the pointed end of his staff aimed at his assailant’s chest.

Before he could blink, the vamp advanced and drove him back. Jared met each advancing blow with a block. He sensed the wall at his back and launched to the side, rolling away before he was cornered. He made a full sweep of the floor with his staff, catching his opponent’s foot and knocking him onto the ground. Taking advantage of the momentary lapse, Jared grabbed the other man’s weapon, breaking his hold and pinning him to the floor.

“Yield.” Jared towered over the vampire and leaned into the staff on his attacker’s neck.

His assailant let out a raspy laugh. He grabbed Jared’s leg and pulled it out from under him. He landed on his ass. The staff clattered to the ground. The vamp spun away from him but not before giving Jared a knock on the back of the head with his staff. Snarling, Jared retrieved his weapon and prepared for the next attack.

“I’m too easy on you, Copil.” The vampire chuckled. “If you were one of the King’s men you’d be dust by now. You fight like an infant.”

God he hated the nickname - Copil. Zephyr had given it to him when he was a child, and unfortunately, it had stuck. It was funny. One Romanian word made him feel like the unsure gangly kid he had once been. One who couldn’t land any of his strikes correctly. He guessed his struggle to learn how to fight was why the vamp had decided to train him personally. He couldn’t think of any other reason.

“Go to hell, Z.”

Hello FALL, A NEW BOOK RELEASE And the ARC's are coming!

I know it's been a log time since I posted here. I'm sure you thought I was buried under a rock in the middle of nowhere. But that's not the case, well maybe almost. LOL

I've been feverishly trying to get the third book in my series done. Drakkar was going to be a Halloween release. Unfortunately my day job got a little crazy and pretty much sucked the writing life out of me. I'm trying to get that back under control and my writing time to increase.

YOU WILL HAVE HIM BEFORE THE END OF THIS YEAR!
I promise you. And his ARC's will be available before the release. If you have read the first two you'll want to read Drake's story.

If you didn't know I had a couple of book signings this past summer. I was very pleased to meet so many new readers and get to hang out with them at our local Community Day and the Pet Festival.
Thank you for coming out to support me!

I do have another one coming up in October. This one is really exciting, The Wappingers Falls Fall Festival. Here is their info!

Saturday October 15, 2016
3rd Annual Wappingers Falls Halloween Parade and Fall Festival
Mesier Park (RAIN OR SHINE)
Wappingers Falls, NY
11am - 5pm
https://www.facebook.com/events/23484...

I hope if you're in the area you come out and say hi!
I will have both books available for purchase. But even so, I'd just love to meet everyone and see all of the wonderful costumes.

Cover Reveal for Drakkar ~ Beyond the Lie

Hi My Paranormal PEEPS!!!

The day is finally here! I've been so excited the past couple of weeks with the anticipation of showing off my newest baby. While I'm in the final stages of finishing the manuscript and sending it to my editor I couldn't wait any longer to let you see Drakkar.

To say writing my teenage vampire has been easy is definitely a "lie". Writing someone his age is extremely difficult actually. While I have lived through the moody teenage years myself and also with my now 19 year old son, Drakkar was different. Not just because he is a vampire. He is different because of the issues I am taking on with him.

I'm not about to give anymore of it away though, lol. You have to patiently wait for his book.

Or as patient as you can be.

But you're not here to read my babble. No. You want the book candy!

Well, without further ado....
