Rafael Vicente Correa Delgado was the President of the Republic of Ecuador, afterwards, he flew off to Belgium, where he lives nowadays. An economist educated in Ecuador, Belgium and the United States, he was elected President in late 2006 and took office in January 2007, and became president for ten years.

He is now sentenced for 8 years in prison.
