Loving anything romantic and dramatic from the age of about three, Jennie followed her dream and has been professionally involved in the arts for most of her life. First as a theatre and stage actor, then as a creative fiction writer.

Born and brought up in Wrexham, North Wales, Jennie now lives in Perth, Western Australia and has been here for half of her life. She remains a countryfied girl at heart with a passion for stately homes and rustic cottages, and spends her days writing, drinking too much coffee, and learning how to keep her numerous houseplants alive.

Her first book was published in 2013 and she hasn’t looked back. Her books have been Australian bestsellers and include the rural fiction Swallow's Fall and Rangelands series.
