Whit Honea was born in Tucson, Arizona and received his degree in creative writing at the University of Arizona. He spent a number of years in and around Seattle before moving to the Los Angeles area with his wife and two sons. His fiction has been nominated for the Pushcart Prize and his take(s) on parenting have appeared in The Atlantic, The Washington Post, ESPN, NPR, Good Housekeeping, Today, CBS, Fandango, Babble (Disney), BabyCenter, GeekDad, The Huffington Post and many other publications.
