Pilgrim Girl
Coming this Christmas is the third book in this series, Pilgrim Girl, based on my own grandmother who arrived on the Mayflower in 1620.While adhering to the actual history of the times I am trying to give life and personality to Constance Hopkins and her husband Nicholas Snow (my grandfather)by digging deeper than the history books go. She is a real woman, a mother of twelve and experiences all the emotions and conflicts that any woman would but her strength makes her special in so many ways.

Blood and Cobblestones
Book Two of this series picks up where The Snows of Somerset County leaves off. It tells the story of Sir Richard and Lady Elizabeth Snow, who are now living at the court of Henry Tudor and his queen Elizabeth of York. It delves into the personal relationships between Sir Richard and the king and Lady Elizabeth's friendship with both Elizabeth of York and Catherine of Aragon. There is the scandal involving a young doctor, a ghost that resides in the local monastery and and even introduces a young playwright named William Shakespeare into the story.
The Snows are still destined to move on...by the end of the book they will take the most exciting and far reaching journeys of their lives....to America!

The Snows of Somerset County
Volume One of my new historical series is called The Snows of Somerset County, based on my own ancestors. It takes the reader back to fifteenth century England where it introduces the patriarch of the Snow family, John Snow, an illiterate farmer and his benevolent overseer Lady Harrington. The book tells the stories of life in Porlock, how they smuggle goods to avoid the king's taxes sometimes putting themselves in mortal danger. Other characters include John's son Little John and his wife Amy Anne who add a lively note to the story and there is also Captain Hatherly, who goes against the murderous pirates who hide in the shadowy coves of the Bristol Channel. The book ends with the dilemma of Elizabeth Snow and her husband Sir Richard Snow when they leave Porlock for the bloody streets of London and are introduced to a very different life at the court of Henry Tudor. Life was difficult in those days and sometimes love was too. But have faith! All the questions will be answered in the sequel Blood and Cobblestones Book Two.
