Jeanne Meeks began backpacking in 2005 and hiked across the Grand Canyon before writing "Rim to Rim," an adventure novel with a twist of mystery and romance. "Wolf Pack," set on Isle Royale, MI, is the second in the Backcountry Mystery series.

The first in the new Tennis Team Mystery series, Gator Bait, was a finalist in the Illinois Author Project in 2016. "Killer Served" followed soon after.

She is now knee-deep in research for her first historical fiction novel. Inspired by a genealogical search for her mother's ancestors, she is telling the story of the Founding Mothers of Quebec.

After twenty-eight years in business, Ms. Meeks and her husband sold their security surveillance company.

This was a good and different story. Implausible in parts but worth reading about issues and causes of abused young women.
