I began writing short stories in 2002. The books you know about are the result. I simply want to write more books. The two novels Body Language and Bad Form are authentic sixties Glasgow crime fiction. Presently working on my third novel. My writing style. involves plots with twists, turns and very surprising endings. The short story collections involve differing subject matter , however the writing style does not change. I offer my books in multiple online outlets in addition to Kindle. My print work is available from Lulu.

I am male and my date of birth is 24/10/1949. I was born in Glasgow, Scotland U.K.

I have been featured in both local and national press namely locally by The Hamilton Advertiser and nationally by Scotland`s Sunday Post.. I began writing short stories in 2002. I have been featured in both local and national press namely locally by The Hamilton Advertiser and nationally by Scotland`s Sunday Post.. Scottish Television made a short film on my writing entitled "A NEW DIRECTION" The film was sponsored by The Open University.

Glasgow`s prestigious Mitchell Library published my print work in bulk for distribution to individual Glasgow libraries. South Lanarkshire Libraries soon followed suit and I now wish to extend this to as many libraries and bookstores as possible. Libraries are increasingly purchasing E-books nowadays. In closing it has been said often that the authentic dialogue I use is one of the strongest assets of my writing. Not my words, Those of The Mitchell Library and Circalit. Circalit is now called Readwave I understand.

09/06/17 Just uploaded my 3rd crime fiction novel Body Art everywhere that Body Language and Bad Form were uploaded on to in the past.That means just about everywhere possible. Expect more of the same? You liked the first two. Why would I change my style or more importantly theirs. They are all back. Lassiter Hagan Horner Hegarty Dawson.. you know the rest.
Body Art now the subject of a great deal of attention from libraries. Local library visits, events etc. now taking shape
Recently attended BBC Writers Room event in Glasgow and the following week was asked to read from my first novel Body Language in Waterstones in Sauchiehall street in Glasgow. This was at the Indie Writers Meetup event. Both these events went superbly. Recently Body Language and my short story collection Scottish Tales have been receiving 5 star Amazon reviews from my ever increasing readership. These reviews can be seen on my Amazon author page. Also more interest from film companies interested in turning Body Language and my other two novels Bad Form and Body Art into screenplays for both film and television
I am now looking for a literary agent and a mainstream publisher for my Glasgow 60`s era crime fiction novels and short story collections.
