Local Author Fair

Last weekend I was invited to do a book signing at the Hood River Library to help celebrate Waucoma Bookstore’s 38th anniversary. There were cookies, local literary heroes, and a healthy dose of book nerdery. I sold copies of Heart of the Current, and met several fans who came in with their own books for me to sign.

Author Interview with Willamette Writers

I was recently interviewed by Bill Johnson of Willamette Writers. It isthe largest writers' organization in Oregon and one of the largest writers' organizations in the United States. Progress report

Welcome to the location of my new blog!

I thought I would use this as an opportunity to lay out the progress on my writing and where the books are at:

The first draft of book 2 is 90% complete. At this point, I will focus on a short story for a month, which will give my brain a small break, and when I do a complete read-through, I'll cut 10%. Only after this 10% cut will I hand off the book to a few lucky beta readers.
