Escritor colombiano. Ha vivido en Bogotá, las selvas del Orinoco, México DF, Barcelona, Palestina y Manchester. Nieto del célebre librero Hans Ungar. Ha desempeñado todo tipo de oficios. Ha escrito cuentos, crónicas y novelas. Obtuvo el Premio Herralde con su novela Tres ataúdes blancos, una sátira sobre los gobiernos populistas y dictatoriales de latinoamérica.

Colombian writer. He has lived in Bogota, the jungles of the Orinoco, Mexico City, Barcelona, Palestine and Manchester. Grandson of the famous bookseller Hans Ungar. He is jack-of-all-trades. He has written short stories, chronicles and novels. He won the Herralde Prize for his novel Tres ataúdes blancos, a satire on populist and dictatorial governments of Latin America.
