Philosophical look at life, death, faith and hope!

Philosophical look at life, death, faith and hope,
June 7, 2014

HEART OF ETERNITY is a paranormal storyline by N. Jay that takes a philosophical look at life, death, faith and hope. Told from two close third person POVs, the premise follows Naida as she embarks on a spiritual journey that will see her look within herself to follow the path to self actualization and healing; and Jay-the ultimate bad boy whose darkness pushes him into a path of torment, sacrifice and destruction.

Naida is a twenty one year old who has been diagnosed with cancer. Refusing all standard scientific and medical treatment, she will seek and find guidance from her uncle- a spiritual leader whose methods will focus on the light within. As Naida looks deep within her soul, she will discover a darkness that pulls her towards a man whose own soul is quite possibly –beyond repair. As a natural healer, Naida is drawn to Jay; her light to his dark; her positive to his negative.

It is a story of love and sacrifice where one man will sacrifice everything to save the woman with whom he has fallen in love-and in doing so will live on in eternity as a part of the whole. It is a story where one woman will find peace from within; a healing of the body, mind and soul; but everything will come with a price.

Many have described HEART OF ETERNITY as a romantic tale but there is no romance to be had. This is a story of love, at the deepest core of one’s soul; and a love that will continue on longer after one’s death.

N. Jay uses the written word like a paint brush of the mind. The motion and movement of the story compels the reader forward into a world where the metaphysical meets reality; where transcendence and perception is of two minds; and where a philosophical journey will end when two souls have merged.

Heart of Eternity-A few things to know

Heart of Eternity Author N Jay: Few Things to Know
By Abby Franklin
06/07/2014 at 06:00 PM EDT
Heart of Eternity author N Jay is used to hordes of adult fiction fans clamoring for her novels. Her book still resides at the top of the best-seller list of adult fiction. Now, the highly anticipated movie adaptation of her novel is said to be underway as it is presumably going to hurtle towards a whopping $80 million opening weekend, according to early predictions.
Based on true life events, Heart of Eternity tells a story of an infinitely detailed, descriptive and imaginative narrative, and a contemplative look at spirituality that pulls some of its’ theory from the Ancient mythologies. “A generation of people have been weaned on mythological novels, leading to more discerning palates,” EW’s Chris Nash writes in his review.
If you’ve read the book, you know the ending will shock you, and if you loved the book, you’re already whimpering. (Beware, fragile souls) If you’re perhaps older or didn’t read the book, think Love Story and everything that entails emotions, true love and demons. As the characters themselves learn, it’s not the ending that counts,it is indeed the story.

Heart of Eternity by N Jay Review by Emily Heisler

Jay knows he is dark, he thrives on it. His life is full of bitterness and although he can put on a good act when needed, he knows who he truly is. When he meets Nadia everything is about to change and he resists it completely.

Nadia doesn’t have a lot of time left, she knows she has cancer and has followed her belief of spiritual healing rather than medicines. As she enlists the help of her Uncle, she finds her life intertwined with Jay. They both need each other, but will there ever be a time where they are able to feel a true connection.

This was a rare find for a book. The story is completely unexpected and had a very poetic feel to it. You want Jay to heal but you are also rooting for Nadia. Without divulging to much of the plot, it will surprise you. Definitely made me think, excellent read.

"You Can't Come In", Said the Voice April 21, 2014

To me, Heart of Eternity is is more to do with extreme emotions in the one being, than a romance between two characters. I read it as a mix of mystical realism and autobiographical mystical soul searching. I see it as a bipolar study of good versus evil personality traits, and an exploration of the inherent dangers in drawing divided back together.

The prose is richly descriptive, but in places strangely magical, almost as though the words were arriving on the paper through mystical translation from some other language.

The book is well-worth reading, in which we can explore our own internal conflicts between often contradictory personality traits. The ending was abrupt, reflecting well the end of life, when long exploration comes to final rest.

I felt over-whelmed by this book because I was drawn to places I didn't want to go. That is my unique problem, which isn't, it seems, one shared by most readers. When the immediate impact subsides, and there is impact, I must read this book again, and again!

The many complimentary reviews of this book I've read highlight many strong positives so I strongly advise that one doesn't read this review without reference to others.

A powerful tale of triumph over the darkness..

Another Five stars from Ms.Kirstie Hicks, owner of Kirstie's Passionate about Reading Wordpress!!

Thanks Kirstie. x

This review is from: Heart Of Eternity (Kindle Edition)
Wow! This is a powerfully written story, both metaphorically and as a fictional tale.

It can be read a couple of ways, one where the characters of the story are symbolic of good and evil, darkness and light. The other way is reading as a two people's life journey where their paths cross and even though they are travelling in two totally different directions their destiny is that they meet as they both have a purpose...they need to save each other.

Naida is seeking inner healing, she knows that her health and life can be healed through Spiritual means and so goes to stay with her Uncle who's beliefs and teachings can lead her toward the inner sanctum of peace and harmony.

Jay on the other hand has had a life of heartache and pain. His journey to date had been filled with loss and darkness. He envisages no light at the end of the tunnel and continues his life with no regard for himself or others.

When Naida and Jay's paths cross there is such a pull between them that all that has been is quickly thrown to the way side and both their lives take a very interesting turn.

N.Jay has a very mature writing style. It has a depth and almost an old world charm about it. The story line is so well written that it is easy to believe that it may have been written based on real life experiences.

I feel that this is the beginning of a very successful writing career for Ms Jay...I know that this story is just a tiny sampler of bigger things to come. Ms Jay's characters have so much more to tell!

A great read with an essence that will leave you thinking about your own life's journey!
