Logan Noble is a horror and science fiction writer who lives in Ohio with his wife and his two dogs. His short stories have appeared in a number of anthologies and magazines, including Pickman’s Gallery, Miskatonic Dreams, Déraciné Magazine, and Sanitarium Magazine. He is the writer of the horror slasher screenplay Hunter.

Let’s start with the most recent one. My Halloween story ‘Wolves at the Door’ was published by the good folks over at Dread Imaginings. I’m proud of this story. I wrote it (and two others) during my first two-week quarantine.

A stellar way to start my reading in 2026; essays that explore creativity and the world around us as readers/writers. Gabbert’s voice makes every essay a breeze. Her insight into the small aspects of a reading life are insightful.

My last book of 2025, a great way to end the year. A book about a family and the silent perception we hold, the judgements and unspoken hold-ups. The start was a little difficult, but once the book settles into its characters it really works.

I wanted to rewatch the movies again, thought I should read the first book. I see why it was a hit in my teenage years; the minute to minute story is very compelling.

Bought this memoir on a whim, drawn in by the promise of a writer memoir. Susan Orlean’s voice is powerful, her enthusiasm and love for writing intoxicating.

50th book of 2025! Macdonald followed Hammett/Chandler and frankly outdoes them. This feels like the best representative of this genre, with moments of cosmic introspection and black hearted dealings.
