Unfortunately, it happens to me a lot. I write Christian devotionals and studies. Sometimes, I find myself asking...myself...if what I'm writing…moreBadly.
Unfortunately, it happens to me a lot. I write Christian devotionals and studies. Sometimes, I find myself asking...myself...if what I'm writing is coming from my brain or God's heart. I would prefer the answer to be God's heart--I like to think of myself as His typist. When I find that I can't decide whether I'm writing for Him or me...I freeze. I can't continue until I know for sure. Sometimes, to be honest, it's debilitating.

However, more often than not, God finds a way to let me know whether or not what I'm *attempting* to write is something he wants me to finish. If it is...it's gets finished.

If it's not...well, I have a whole file folder of unfinished and uncompleted work.(less)

What’s the best thing about being a writer?

Angela Kalnins I think for me, the best part about being a writer is being able to share with others my love of God and my faith in Him and His works. He's given me …moreI think for me, the best part about being a writer is being able to share with others my love of God and my faith in Him and His works. He's given me the tools to share those things with humor and genuine truth and I'm told that people like to read what He and I write together.

AND...I'm human enough to admit I love it when someone says, "I really like your book!"(less)
