Well I’m back from 5 weeks overseas and also on the up side, I finally finished the last instalment of The Djinn Series – Djinn Rummy is just going through the usual editing process and should be published soon – YAY!
The Winter Prince is languishing the back ground and as soon as my characters learn to behave themselves (the jerks!), I can crack on with that. I am working on a new Novella – temporarily named the Short Shift about a bunch of shifters in a post-apocalyptic world. It’s also my first time writing from a first person POV and I find it actually easier to write in that style then I thought.
I’m also polishing the story lines on the Male Medusa series but probably won’t get cracking on that till Decemberish…
Best get back to it.

Yeah. Probably. There a way too many good books being published at the moment and there is nothing better than curling up next to the fire with a good book…

I am also contending with some disobedient characters who simply won’t do as their told. We’re in a Mexican stand-off at the moment.
They won’t follow the story line and I won’t type. Take that! That’ll learn them for sure. *sighs*

I am working on three different stories. I am trying to get the Djinn short series finished and also working on The Winter Prince which is a stand-alone story based on the Ice Queen.

I have Illona Andrews next novel to read so the characters in my stories win today… I will see if I can get them to behave tomorrow…

It's done.

The last book for the Horned god series is up and published! I had a couple of beta readers give me feedback and they loved it which is always thrilling for someone who writes! Apparently they never saw the twist ending coming so I've got that going for me which is nice.

I swore I was going to ignore all feedback on my books and just keep writing regardless of what people said, but I just scored my first 5 star review on Amazon - someone paid and then gave me a positive review!!

It seems silly to be so thrilled at such a small milestone but right now I have a grin on my face and life is good.

I know there will be 1 star reviews coming from people who don't care for my work but I'm basking in the glory and will drink a glass of champagne.

Apparently I'm easy to please ;)

I really am trying to remember to add something to this from time to time.

I just got the cover back for The Winter Prince which is looking pretty awesome if I do say so myself! It's a stand alone story based loosely around the Hans Christen Anderson's 'The Ice Queen'. But this version will NOT be suitable for children (snigger).

I am also working my way towards the ending of Horned god rising which is shaping up quite nicely. It's great when you can get a solid ending in a series like that.

Next on the list after those two is Djinn Rummy, the third book in the Otherkind Kink: Djinn series, before I crack on with my first full length series.

It's glass o'wine o'clock and time to crack a bottle.

I mentioned before that I'm completely rubbish at blogging.

Half the time I don't remember to put on pants let alone write blog entries.

Anyway: update!

I have two more of my titles up and am working hard to make sure that I get a few more up shortly. I'm currently working on the start of a new series called Winter Prince which is shaping up nicely.

One of them's a dreaded 'one star' but you live and learn.

At this stage I'm happy that people are reading them.

I'll simply have to try harder.

I finally have three books in print!

After years of writing material, I finally got my self organised and published.

What a saga. It makes you appreciate other authors out there all more to understand what they go through.
